What is Mission?
▼
Mission exists to fuel the extraordinary. By focusing on a natural, sustainable release of energy, we allow people to push beyond their limits. Our first range of products is a group of teas to enhance performance, aid recovery and soothe mind and body.
Who is Mission for?
▼
Mission is for anyone looking to improve their physical or mental wellbeing. Our caffeinated teas (Energise, Perform and Hydrate), amongst other benefits, focus on providing a slow, sustainable release of energy. This makes them the perfect alternative to coffee or sugar based energy drinks. Our caffeine free blends (Recover, Calm and Sleep) are filled with anti-inflammatory, adaptogen ingredients to soothe the mind and body. We will always use 100% natural, sustainable ingredients so you can focus on fuelling something extraordinary.
Which tea is for me and when should I take it?
▼
There is plenty of guidance on our individual teas on the product pages and in the nutrition section of the site. However, in short:
Energise - A perfect morning coffee replacement for any time of day. Green tea provides a slow release of energy whilst cocoa nibs and beetroot increase blood flow to the brain and therefore improve mental cognition.
Perform - Perfect for increased focus or exercise, Yerba Mate is great for sustainable energy, focus and endurance. Gotu Kola + Spearmint improves mental cognition.
Hydrate - Perfect for anytime you need to hydrate. We use Matcha and Yerba Mate for a slow release of energy, plus add Himalayan Pink Salts as a natural electrolyte.
Recover - Good for the afternoons and evenings, when you need to soothe your mind and body. Rooibos, Lavender, Ginkgo Biloba and Ashwagandha are all effective anti-inflammatories, helping to ease sore muscles and decrease stress. Ginkgo Biloba, Rosehip and Ashwagandha.
Sleep - Designed to optimise your sleep. Rooibos and Ginkgo Biloba help to reduce the levels of stress-hormones in your body that disturb sleep, Lavender reduces anxiety, whilst Turmeric and Ginger reduces inflammation.
Do you have any samples?
▼
We used to sell sample pouches of Mission, but the feedback was that it didn’t last long enough to give the full experience. We now recommend for customers to try our Discovery Bundle where you can choose the teas you want to try in handy 10-serving packs.
Do Mission teabags contain plastic?
▼
No, all our teabags are made from a 100% biodegradable corn starch, a pioneering design developed in Japan. These can be disposed of into a food waste or compost bin.
Can I recycle the packaging?
▼
By 2022 we will have introduced tins / jars to ensure Mission is 100% plastic free. We are currently in the process of making Mission plastic free, and by November 2021 we will have introduced our compostable packaging. To dispose of our new packs you will be able to throw them into your food waste or compost bins - just like our teabags!
Unfortunately, our packaging for our stick packs and for our 10 and 30 packs is classed as Number 7 plastics. This type of plastic is traditionally not recyclable, though some curbside programs now take them - you will need to check with your local council to see if you’re able to include our packs in your recycling.
Do you have a newsletter I can sign up to?
▼
Absolutely! Sign up through the link at the bottom of this page to get 10% off your first order with us. We never spam and want to give our customers valuable and interesting information about Mission and our products, plus exclusive access to help us develop new products.
How did Mission start?
▼
Mission started when our founder Tom discovered local Argentinian teas whilst cycling the length of South America, he grew tired of the spikes and slumps in energy levels from coffee and artificial sports drinks and discovered that local teas were a much more sustainable way to fuel his challenge. Arriving back in the UK, Tom linked up with nutritional experts to create a batch of performance teas, testing them out by running the length of Iceland. Instead of high sugar, high caffeine energy drinks, he took Mission and had a much more consistent energy level as a result. He ran 17 marathons in 10 days, setting a new Guinness World Record. After some final tweaks, we’ve now created a range of 100% natural blends for optimum performance. Whatever your extraordinary goal, we’re here to fuel it. Hear the full story

Product
What is the Discovery Bundle?
▼
Our Discovery Bundle is a great way to try the full range of Mission teas. All products in the Discovery Bundle include 10 servings. Select which teas you like the sound of and give them a try! Available as a one off or subscription.
What is the All Day Routine?
▼
240 servings. Includes 60 servings each of Energise, Perform and Recover teabags and 30 servings each of Hydrate and Sleep matcha powders. Available as a one-off or subscription.
Can I have them hot or cold? What’s the difference?
▼
You can take any of our blends hot or cold depending on how you're feeling. There may be 1 or 2mg less caffeine in cold brews but this is an insignificant difference.
Do your teas contain caffeine?
▼
Some but not all. The caffeine we do have is very low compared to a coffee (for example, a venti filter coffee from Starbucks in the UK contains 387mg of caffeine) or energy drink. We are the only UK tea + coffee company to pay for the amount of caffeine in each blend.
Caffeine amounts as follows: Energise: 14mg. Perform 12mg. Hydrate: 12mg. Recover: 0mg. Sleep: 0mg. (New blend coming soon - Calm: 0mg).
Are the teas for work, exercise or relaxing?
▼
All of our caffeine teas are designed to provide a slow, sustainable release of energy which is perfect for working or exercise. Our non-caffeinated blends are specifically made to help you relax and recover. You can find out more in the
nutrition section of our website.
How much liquid should I use?
▼
It's completely up to you how much liquid you use, it will have the same effect no matter what quantity you choose. To get the same optimal effect from our tea bags, we recommend brewing for 3-5 minutes when having our drinks hot, and for 5-10 mins when having our drinks cold. The longer you leave it, the stronger the flavour.
Some of our customers like to take our matchas as a shot with just 50ml of water or milk. Other customers like to use 500-750ml of water when mixing either the tea bags our matchas in our water bottle.
When drinking our teas cold, there is no need to use hot water first for the teabags or the matchas (this is what will make the matcha sink to the bottom). Simply just add to a water bottle filled with cold water and shake!
Are the teas batch tested?
▼
All our products are 100% natural and are currently used by over 100 GB athletes. We do not use anything on any WADA or other banned list. If you would like any more information on how we are making progress to certify our products, please get in touch at

You can track your order via your confirmation email, if you have any issues with your tracking link get in touch with us at
hello@missionuk.com and we can help you. Despite their best efforts some Royal Mail, Hermes and DPD delivery services may be disrupted due to the pandemic, extreme weather conditions or unplanned road closures.
Can I change my order including products or delivery address?
▼
Unfortunately, as soon as billing is placed, the box automatically goes into process for you and we are not able to change your order or stop the box from being shipped to the delivery address provided after payment.
If changing the products or your delivery address straight after ordering we can absolutely change this for you. However, unfortunately if your order has already been processed by our warehouse we won't be able to amend your order for you, however we will ensure to update your delivery address on our systems so we know in the future where to send your tea!

▼
These bundles are set and cannot be edited (something we are working on!). However, you can create a “Build Your Own Box” where the boxes can be fully customisable. hello@missionuk.com if you would like to start a Build Your Own Box.
How can I amend or cancel my subscription?
▼
You can pause or cancel your subscription by logging into your account via our website. If you have any questions or would like our help in editing your subscription, you can reach out to us at

Will I save more money if I subscribe?
▼
In short yes, and the more you buy, the more you save. If you subscribe to our Discovery Bundle it will cost £24, and if you're to order it as a one off it is £30.
Then on our "Build Your Own Box" offering you can choose what you put into your box. These are all 30 packs starting at £16 for every pack. The more packs you add to your box, the cheaper each pack would be, for e.g. if you add two packs it will come down to £26.40 (£13.20 per pack).
Do you ship worldwide?
