Mission Immune Supporting Blends

While it needs to be acknowledged that there is no magic solution to avoiding illnesses (so many factors influence this!), there is so much that can be done to support your immune system that can potentially influence the length and severity of illnesses. Within our blends, we have ingredients that contribute to normal immune function, and can therefore be used as a means to support your immune system this winter.

Energise

The base of Energise is Chumnee Green tea, Ginger + Cocoa. These 3 are all polyphenol powerhouses and polyphenols are a rich source of antioxidants which means this blend takes on more of a preventative role in immune support. Antioxidants are compounds which can help to protect cells from harmful inflammation, and the illnesses that this can cause. In recent years, Ginger has been linked to immune supporting benefits, largely again due to being rich in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger is also notorious for playing a big role in supporting gut health and with ~70% of immune cells being present in the gut, good gut health is a great way to optimise your immune system. Cocoa is largely renowned for its immunomodulating (stimulates the immune system) and anti-inflammatory properties, which again can help to protect cells from harmful damage.

Recover

The Ashwaghanda in Recover contributes to reduced inflammation. There is also evidence that tulsi supports immune function, by increasing the proliferation of T-cells and natural killer cells - which are key disease fighting cells.
